Michael Glock was born in Lüdenscheid (Germany) and studied piano in Hamburg, Heidelberg and in London with John Lenehan. He won several scholarships and took part actively in numerous international masterclasses with Paul Badura-Skoda, Joanna MacGregor (Dartington Summer School), Vitalij Margulis, Jörg Demus, Menahem Pressler (Beaux Arts Trio) and other ones.

In 1995 he did the ARCM Piano Performing diploma at the Royal College of Music in London.
